December 15-2010, Jan 1st-2011, Feb 15th-2011, March 1st-2011, April 1st-2011 All are deadlines. Yes. Different Universities have different deadlines. However, it is always best to prepare for the tight deadline. Here is what you should do. IF you have not started already, you should start today. Given below is Schedule of Activities

1. GRE/TOEFL Preparation – April to June for Fall 2011 – It is never too late, though. As indicated above there are Universities taking Deadlines up to April 2011.

3. TOEFL Test – 30th June

Why Fall 2011? Why not Spring 2012 for MS Admissions in US Universities? Nothing earth shattering. But, there are a few compelling reasons to choose Fall over Spring.

1) Your Schooling – This is not compelling enough. But Why waste time? You complete your Graduation in June and Why wait another 6-7 months?
2) Academic Year and Scholarship – In US Academic Year starts in August. They have a few attendant advantages
3) Courses in Fall may be precursor to Courses in Spring and you may have an advantage there. Converse is also true. If you start in Spring with advanced courses you may have to work hard. But end of the day, you will have a better resume.
4) Students Organisation and Sports Recruitments happen in Fall, being Academic Year. If you are a good sportsman, you should consider Fall to Spring.
5) Alas! Campus jobs are filled in Fall. As a fresher you tend to lose even limited opportunities.
6) Fall students are better placed for Summer Internship since they would have studied for six months.

Having said that, we assure you these are not grave handicaps, but are minor advantages. Spring entrants are as successful as Fall entrants.
